Hallelujah to the Lamb

We just got back from our Bible study that we attend every Tuesday night - somehow we've grown from half a dozen Americans to mostly Chinese that come to the US and manage to find our group within a few days. I'm bouncing off the walls after tonight, and I have to share this exciting news with all of you!! Two of our newest Chinese friends who have been in the US only two weeks prayed last night to receive Christ! They stayed up into the wee hours of the morning reading their Bible and were full of questions tonight. Eric talked with the husband for over an hour - they covered a summary of Genesis - Judges lol. God is really moving, and He seems to be especially moving among the Chinese here in Lexington. Eric and I are starting (sooner than we had intended lol) an International Bible Study in the next few weeks that will focus on an introduction to Christianity and the Bible and will be geared for people who are not native English speakers and are not 'native churchgoers'.

Ever since they told us of their decision to follow Christ, I have had the words to a song that we sing in church running through my head. "Lord, I stand in the midst of a multitude, Of those from every tribe and tongue. We are your people, redeemed by your blood, Rescued from death by your love. There are no words good enough to thank You, there are no words to express my praise. But I will lift up my voice and sing from my heart with all of my strength. Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah to the Lamb. Hallelujah, hallelujah, by the blood of Christ we stand. Every tongue, every tribe, every people, every land, Giving glory, giving honor, giving praise unto the Lamb of God."

I can't wait for heaven!!!

Update

Okay... so while it appears that I may have disappeared from the face of the earth, I am in fact still alive! Sorry for the lack of updates recently - I've been busy with work, Chinese Bible study, and getting my wisdom teeth removed - twice!! (Note to all parties who may be getting their wisdom teeth removed in the near future... make sure they xray you before they let you go home!)

No, I am not still reading Safely Home. :) I just finished reading I am not but I know I AM by Louie Giglio. A post to come on that in the near future. (Probably more future than near lol)

Anyway... this post is basically for our friend Eric Lake... to let him know that I do still update this blog on occasion. :P

Stay tuned...
